PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a risk of necrosis and injury to a treated region caused by an operators carelessness (by no injection of cooling water)by giving the alarm or stopping driving of an instrument (a hand-piece)resecting a tooth when the flow of the cooling water is reduced to a reference set value or lower in an odontotherapy apparatus having a function of cooling a tooth cutting place by injecting cooling water to the tooth cutting place.SOLUTION: An odontotherapy apparatus includes a tooth cutting instrument 31 and a water circuit 11 for feeding cooling water for cooling a tooth cutting place by the instrument 30. The tooth cutting place is cooled by inserting the water circuit into the tooth cutting place during the tooth cutting treatment. The odontotherapy apparatus also includes a flow detection means 23 for detecting the flow within the water circuit, and alarming means 23, 24 and 31 for giving the alarm when the flow within the water circuit is reduced to a reference set value or lower.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】歯牙切削箇所に冷却水を注水し、該歯牙切削箇所を冷却する機能を有する歯科治療装置において、前記冷却水の流量が基準設定値以下に低下したときに警報を発し、或いは、歯牙切削中のインスツルメント(ハンドピース)の駆動を停止するようにし、術者の不注意による(冷却水不注入による)、治療部位の壊死や損傷の恐れを未然に防ぐ。【解決手段】歯牙切削用のインスツルメント31、及び、該インスツルメント30による歯牙切削箇所を冷却する冷却水を供給する水回路11を有し、歯牙切削治療中、歯牙切削箇所に前記水回路を通して該歯牙切削箇所を冷却する。水回路内の流量を検知する流量検知手段23と、前記水回路内の流量が基準設定値以下に低下したときに警報を発生する警報手段23、24、31とを有する。【選択図】図1
