PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental treatment apparatus capable of preventing unexpected damage due to lack of cooling water by monitoring a water supply system to detect whether or not the cooling water is sufficiently supplied to an amputated tooth during amputation treatment of the tooth.SOLUTION: A dental treatment apparatus includes an instrument 8 for tooth amputation, and a water circuit 10 for supplying cooling water for cooling an amputated part of tooth with the instrument 8. The apparatus has a function of cooling the amputated part of tooth through the water circuit 10 during amputation treatment of the tooth. The apparatus has a rotation sensor 24 for detecting the rotation of a pump 21 for supplying the cooling water to the instrument 8, or a sensor 25 for detecting whether or not drive power has been supplied to the motor 22 for driving the pump 22.
