PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nerve fiber protective agent composition which effectively protects sensory nerve fibers from irritating factors other than the objects of evaluation in electrophysiological evaluation for irritating materials, and stably retains the thickness of a base line in measurement with the lapse of time, and an evaluation method and an evaluation system for irritating materials using the same.SOLUTION: The nerve fiber protective agent composition is substantially composed of an oily component, and in which viscosity (mPa s) at 25°C lies in the range of 500 to 500,000.
