PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed-leaving determination device which recognizes a care-giver or a visitor approaching, and in that case, does not determine that a care-receiver has left a bed even when movement of a human body is detected on the bed or its periphery.SOLUTION: An image photographing a periphery of a bed is divided into a bed area (area A) which is an area occupied by the bed, a bedside area (area B) which is an area of a floor surface with a width of about the lateral width of a human body that walks on it when leaving the bed, and a peripheral area (area C) where a human body walks when moving from outside a room to the bedside area. When a movement is detected in the area B in a normal mode, it is determined as bed-leaving, and when a movement is detected only in the area C, the mode is shifted to a care mode, and in the care mode, even when a movement is detected in the area B, it is not determined as bed-leaving.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】介護従事者や面会者が近づいてきたことを認識し、その場合にはベッドや周辺で人体の動き検出をした場合でも要介護者が離床したとは判定しない離床判定装置を提供する。
