A composition comprising: a continuous aqueous phase, a dispersed oil phase is substantially uniformly distributed in said aqueous phase, said oil phase contains a sunscreen agent, comprising UV-absorbing polyester in an amount effective to provide said composition with a SPF of about 10 or more , wherein the UV-absorbing polyester comprises the reaction product of polymerization of monomers containing a UV-absorbing triazole, diester, diol and polyol tetrolny anionic emulsifier for emulsion type "oil in water" ineion th emulsifier for the type "oil in water" emulsions, containing an alcohol functional group, wherein the weight ratio of said anionic emulsifier for emulsion type "oil in water" to said nonionic emulsifier for emulsion type "oil in water" is about 1.5 or less, and said composition being substantially free of non-polymeric UV absorbing sunscreen has SPF and less than 2 in the absence of said UV absorbing poliefira.2.
