The present invention relates to a cotton swab having a cotton part at one or both ends of a rod. The rod comprises: a crack opening a gap inducing separation when force is applied to the rod and a toothpick. According to the present invention, the toothpick is formed along the crack opening when force is applied to the rod after used as the cotton swab. The cotton swab has functions of a swab and a toothpick, and maximizes portability and convenience.
