PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a mud guard member attached to the front side of a puddling implement to have a function for drawing a suspended matter such as straw floating on the muddy water in a field to the inside of a shield cover.
SOLUTION: The puddling implement 10 attached to a tractor 20, and including a tilling rotor 6 rotating around a horizontal axis by receiving the power from the tractor 20, and the shield cover 2 covering above the tilling rotor, has the mud guard member 1 connected to the front side in the traveling direction of the shield cover 2. The mud guard member 1 is formed with inclined slits 1d from the lower end in the height direction, which is vertically inclined from both sides toward the center in the width direction of the tilling implement 10, and the mud guard member 1 is formed into a shape divided into a plurality of receiving fragments 1e in the length direction across the inclined slits 1d.
