The present invention refers to a control unit based on fuzzy logic for controlling the feeding process in the Tilapia culture. The controller takes the temperature and the oxygen dissolved in the water from the culture tanks as an input value for determining the accurate amounts to be supplied in each feeding time. The values of the temperature and dissolved oxygen are taken by means of sensor and are interpreted with a data acquisition system which is integral with the controller. The decisions of the controller are taken according to rules designed for feeding Tilapia based on the expert knowledge in Tilapia culture. Said amount of food is interpreted and converted into start-up time in the electric motors in fish feeding devices.
