In the present invention, disclosed is a composition for controlling proliferation of neuronal stem cells including miR-29b and promoting differentiation of the same into nerve cells. The composition or nerve cells differentiated thereby according to the present invention can be usefully used in treating or preventing various diseases caused by damage to nerve cells.
