PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melanin production inhibitor and a food composition including the melanin production inhibitor.SOLUTION: The melanin production inhibitor including the extract of the Aronia of genus Aronia, Rosaceae family has excellent melanin production inhibition action and tyrosinase activity inhibition action. Further, a synergistic effect can be obtained when the existing melanin production inhibitor is jointly used.
