PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which enables easy visually confirmation whether the pressure of the internal space of the endoscope is lower than the atmospheric pressure or higher than the atmospheric pressure, surely prevents the work of returning the pressure of the internal space of the endoscope to the atmospheric pressure from being forgotten and enables easy judgement whether or not the airtightness of the endoscope is maintained in a short time.
SOLUTION: In the light source insertion part 8 of the endoscope 1, a pressure gauge (internal pressure display means) 10 indicating the size of the internal pressure of the endoscope 1 is embedded. The pressure gauge 10 has a scale 11 to be the index of the size of the internal pressure of the endoscope 1 and an indicating needle 12 for indicating the scale 11. The pressure gauge 10 is operated so that the indicating needle 12 is continuously displaced to the right and left along the scale 11 by force brought by a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the endoscope 1 and indicates the scale 11 corresponding to the size of the internal pressure of the endoscope 1.
