The present invention relates to a cupping instrument. According to the present invention, the cupping instrument includes: a cylinder which opens at upper and lower ends； and a piston which is tightly close to an inner wall of the cylinder and moves upwardly from the bottom to the top. The piston includes: a tight-contact closing unit which is positioned close to an inner wall of the cylinder body and closes an inner space of the cylinder at an upper side； a body which extends upwards from the tight-contact closing unit； and a piston holding means which prevents the piston from moving downwards inside the cylinder by air pressure. When a lower edge of the cylinder is attached to the skin while the piston is located on the lower side in the cylinder, and the body of the piston moves upwards, a negative pressure is generated in the inner space in the cylinder by expansion of the dimensions of the inner space consisting of the lower edge of the cylinder, the body of the cylinder, and the tight-contact closing unit of the piston, and the piston is fixed by the piston holding means without moving downwards by the air pressure. In the above-described manner, the cupping instrument may perform a cupping treatment function. The cupping instrument of the present invention includes a means for generating a negative pressure.
