PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an articulator and a method thereof which can materialize improvement in efficiency and accuracy of manufacturing prosthesis by properly correcting a position, with an upper and lower dentition models set in the articulator, without taking occlusion in a patients revisit of the hospital where a checkbite is used with an excess thickness left on the upper and lower tooth contact faces or with wrong occlusion produced on account of improper occlusion taking.SOLUTION: An articulator is devised in which, even with a checkbite having improper occlusion recorded, since the vertical relation of relative dentition in the oral cavity is intact, the vertical occlusion on one side only where occlusive relation is simple on the articulator is first properly adjusted and made to occlude. In such event, with the position state on one side that is made to occlude relative to the condylar as a reference, the other side is also adjusted, which makes the right and left and vertical dentition moved with the same angle and distance and occluded. The articulator of the invention has this adjustment function.【課題】本発明の課題は、上下の歯牙接触面に余分な厚みを残したままのチェックバイトや不適切な咬合採得から起こる間違った噛みあわせのチェックバイトを使い、患者の再来院による咬合採得を行うことなく、咬合器に上下歯列模型を装着したままの状態で適正に位置を修正し、補綴物の製作精度の向上と製作の効率化を実現できる咬合器とその方法を開発することを目的とした。【解決手段】不適切な咬合関係を印記されたチェックバイトであっても、口腔内においての相対的な歯列の上下関係は正しいので、その関係をもとに、まず咬合器上で咬合関係が解りやすい片側のみの上下関係の噛み合わせを適正に調整し咬合させる。その場合の顆頭に対しての噛みあわせた片額の位置状態を参考にもう一方も調整する事により左右の上下歯列が同じ角度と距離で移動し噛みあわされる事になる。その調整機能を持った咬合器を考案した。【選択図】図1
