PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for delivering an introduced object into tissue in an eye or the like in a more facile, more convenient, less invasive and less traumatic manner.SOLUTION: A trocar assembly 8 for delivering an introduced material into tissue in an eye or the like comprises a primary housing 6, a cannula 3, an introduced material 5, an actuator and a trocar 2. The trocar occupies a lumen of the cannula and protrudes beyond an end of the cannula.
