PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a gap between the legs of a wearer and an absorbent body in a 3-piece type diaper including the absorbent body having a constricted part in the intermediate part in the longer direction.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes an absorbent body 10, an abdominal side belt member 30a and a back side belt member 30b. The abdominal side belt member and the back side belt member are each arranged with an elastic member 35 which expands and contracts along the transverse direction. The absorbent body has an absorbent core 11, and a liquid impermeable leak proof sheet. The absorbent core has a constricted part 11c between an abdominal side end part 11a and a back side end part 11b. The elastic member 35b provided on the back side belt member has a part which becomes discontinuous between one end part in the transverse direction and the other end part. In the elastic members provided on the back side belt member in the longitudinal direction, the number of elastic members arranged in a position overlapping on the constricted part is smaller than that of the elastic members arranged in a position overlapping on the non-constricted back side end part.
