Biopotential is detected on the skin of the subject. Biopotentials include muscle biopotential, and neuronal biopotential. The skin sensor is arranged to allow the sensing circuitry to highlight the nerve biopotential and not the muscle biopotential in the processed biopotential signal generated by the sensing circuitry.
