A container e.g. a blister pack comprising a tray with at least one cavity, a seal comprising a cover film 1 having electrically conductive tracks 14 defining a circuit per cavity and pre-formed lines of separation 4 defining a removable portion 2 per cavity, at least one frangible bridge region (10, 12, figure 3) between the removable portion and the remainder of the film providing a pathway for the associated circuit 22. Lug portion (8, figure 4) may be grasped to release portion 2. The tracks may be formed by printing with conductive ink. The bridge portion is torn to break the circuit when the product e.g. a tablet is dispensed. A second bridge region may be provided which is non-frangible to keep the removable portion attached to the container after dispensing of the cavity contents. The container may be used for storing mixed medication organised in advance and recording when the contents of each cavity was dispensed. Alerts may be sent e.g. by SMS message if the contents are not dispensed according to a predetermined schedule or regimen.
