A composition for external use which contains a first agent and a second agent and is mixed upon use. The first agent contains a thickening agent that is composed of a water-soluble polymer, and the second agent contains a thickening agent that is composed of a water-soluble polymer, pyrroloquinolinequinone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and water.
