PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning unit and a cooling system capable of enhancing efficiency by combining an air cleaning device and a cooling device.SOLUTION: The air cleaning unit 20 has: the air cleaning device 30 in which air in facilities 70 is introduced into an outer pipe 32 via an air pipe channel 37 and gaseous contamination substance is eliminated from the inside of air by spraying water to the introduced air from a water spraying section 33 and a heat exchanger 50 having a low temperature side air cleaning piping 51 to which water recovered in a water recovering section 34 of the air cleaning device 30 is supplied and a high temperature side piping 52 to which water used in the cooling device 60 cooling a heat source is supplied and carrying out heat exchange between the water in the low temperature side piping 51 and the water in the high temperature side piping 52.
