The invention relates to a device for implanting a prosthesis for the treatment of an abdominal aortic aneurysm, which comprises: a flexible insertion tube (1) that can be inserted into the aneurysm sac (16)； a tubular sheath (4) that passes through the insertion tube； and two guides (5 and 6) which, in turn, pass through the tubular sheath. Beginning at an end section (2), the insertion tube (1) comprises an axial slot (3). The tubular sheath (4) comprises an intermediate hole (8) close to an internal outlet (7), the guides (5 and 6) extending from said outlet and hole.
