A system for pressure bathing in gas-containing mist is provided in which a gas and a liquid are controlled with respect to amount, pressure, etc. to enable a gas-containing mist to be absorbed in an optimal state into a living body through the skin and mucous membrane. The system is for bringing a gas-containing mist obtained by atomizing and dissolving a liquid and any of carbon dioxide gas, oxygen, and a carbon dioxide gas/oxygen mixture each having a concentration not lower than a given value, into contact with the skin and mucous membrane of a living body. The system comprises a gas supply means (11), a liquid supply means (21), a gas-containing mist supply means (31) which generates a gas-containing mist by atomizing and dissolving, by means of a fluid nozzle (32), a gas supplied from the gas supply means (11) and a liquid supplied from the liquid supply means (21) and which supplies the gas-containing mist, and a living-body covering member (41) which covers the skin and mucous membrane of the living body and forms a space for confining therein the gas-containing mist supplied from the gas-containing mist supply means (31). The system brings the gas-containing mist within the living-body covering member (41) into contact with the skin and mucous membrane of a living body at a pressure not lower than a given value.
