PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multistage hydroponic device in which an electricity usage amount is suppressed to the utmost without using manpower to adjust the distance between a plant and a luminaire so as to speed up plant growth, thereby extremely improving harvest efficiency of cultivation facility per unit area and cultivation work efficiency.SOLUTION: A hydroponic device 1 in which water culture panels 3 are arranged in body parts 2 installed in a plurality of vertical stages comprises: an LED lighting device 4 which illuminates plants 20 in the panel of each stage； a holding plate 5 of the LED lighting device which is a separate body from each stage body part； connection means 12 which connects the holding plates of all stages； an electrically-driven cylinder 6 which can move the connection means in a vertical direction； a sensor 7 which is installed in the holding plate of each stage and detects whether a relative distance between the holding plate and the tip side of the plant in the panel reaches within a prescribed range； and a controller 8 which drives the electrically-driven cylinder to move the holding plates of all stages upward at the same time, when at least one stage sensor detects that the relative distance between the holding plate and the tip side of the plant in the panel reaches within the prescribed range, and stops the electrically-driven cylinder, when the sensor detects that it is out of the prescribed range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
