PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type atomizing device including a steam sterilization means, effectively performing sterilization, and effectively performing management of a sterilization state by periodically measuring the sterilization condition.SOLUTION: This wet type atomizing device includes: a first flow passage to a plunger pump from a first supply port for inputting a raw material and a second flow passage to an injection nozzle inside a smash chamber from the plunger pump. The wet type atomizing device injects the pressurized raw material from the smash chamber injection nozzle, and collides the raw material inside the smash chamber to smash the raw material. The wet type atomizing device includes: a steam supply device blowing steam into the first supply port and a pressure regulating valve for the smash chamber provided just before the injection nozzle inside the smash chamber. While discharging a part of the steam outside the flow passage by the regulating valve, the first flow passage and the second flow passage are maintained at a sterilization temperature of 121°C or above for a prescribed time.
