A data processing method for detecting the conversion from mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to Alzheimer disease (AD), allowing objectively quantifying the effects that this has on the patient's electroencephalogram (EEG). The method of the invention provides an objective criterion for monitoring the brain health status of MCI subjects, which goes alongside the other criteria of neurological, psychological, clinical and cognitive assessment normally provided by the evaluation protocols of these patients.L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de données pour détecter la conversion d'un trouble cognitif léger (TCL) en la maladie d'Alzheimer (MA), permettant de quantifier de façon objective les effets que celui-ci a sur l'électroencéphalogramme (EEG) du patient. Le procédé de l'invention fournit un critère objectif pour surveiller l'état de santé cérébrale de sujets souffrant de TCL, qui est en accord avec les autres critères d'évaluation neurologique, psychologique, clinique et cognitive fournis normalement par les protocoles d'évaluation de ces patients.
