PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device that eliminates the need of removing a reflecting plate from the side of a cultivating rack and transfer/storage of the device in a remote place when plants are checked with respect to their growth conditions, cultivated, or the like.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation device 1 comprises a plurality of pillars 6, a cultivation rack 3 that is constructed using the pillars and comprises a loading part 4 on which a cultivation tank 2 is arranged and implanted with plants, and LED illumination device 5 arranged on the cultivation rack above the loading part with a space, and a cultivation region S1 is provided between the loading part and LED illumination device. The cultivation rack is shaped to fit within a virtual rectangular parallelepiped. On the front and rear sides of the virtual rectangular parallelepiped, a reflecting plate 10 having a reflection surface 10a facing the inside of a cultivation region is disposed such that it can rotate about a horizontal axis extending along its upper side portion and it can move back and forth between a flip-up position facing the outside of the cultivation region and a housing position fitting in a non-cultivation region S2 above the LED illumination device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】植物の生育状態の確認や植物の収穫等の際に、栽培ラックの側面の反射板を取り外して離れた場所に運搬・保管する必要がない植物栽培装置を提供する。【解決手段】植物栽培装置1は、複数の支柱6、および支柱を利用して設けられかつ植物が植えられた栽培槽2を載せる載置部4を有する栽培ラック3と、載置部の上方に間隔をおいて栽培ラックに配置されたＬＥＤ照明装置5とを備えており、載置部とＬＥＤ照明装置との間に栽培領域S1が設けられている。栽培ラックは仮想直方体内に収まるような形状である。仮想直方体の前後側面に、栽培領域内側を向いた反射面10aを有する反射板10が、その上辺部に沿ってのびる水平軸を中心として回動可能に、かつ栽培領域外側を向く跳ね上げ位置とＬＥＤ照明装置上方の非栽培領域S2に収まる収納位置との間を前後方向移動可能に設けられている。【選択図】図３
