591097 Disclosed is a device (40) for the treatment of hyperhidrosis by application of electric current to a treatment area of the skin. The device comprises: a) a garment (10) comprising a first electrode (101) adapted for contacting said treatment area； b) a second electrode (201) adapted for contacting the treatment area or skin proximal to the treatment area； and c) a power delivery unit (30) in electrical communication with said first (101) and second (201) electrodes. In use the power delivery unit (30) provides a customized dose of electricity to the treatment area. The customized dose of electricity comprises one or more cycles of a gradually increasing amount of electricity, followed by a first period of constant electricity, followed by a gradually decreasing amount of electricity, followed by a second period of constant electricity.
