PURPOSE: A medical device and a treatment method for hyperhidrosis using iontophoresis are provided to prevent the electrical burn phenomenon due to direct contact with an electrode plate and to raise the effect of medical treatment by enlarging the contact region with user's skin through an outer cover of the electrode plate. CONSTITUTION: A medical device for hyperhidrosis using iontophoresis includes: an electrode portion(100) which is equipped with a first electrode(102) and a second electrode(104)； a power supply unit(110) which receives the power； a power controller(120) which outputs pulsating current for the hyperhidrosis treatment to the electrode portion and can prevent the electrical shock to a user by slowly varying the voltage or electric current； a polarity switching section(130) which transforms the polarity of the electric power provided to two electrode plates at regular cycles； and an input unit(140) which is used to receive input values such as a size of current, treatment time and the like.전기이온영동법을 이용한 다한증 치료기 및 그 치료방법이 개시된다. 외부를 극세사세무융과 같은 소정의 외피로 감싼 전극판을 통해 다한증 치료를 위한 설정된 전류를 출력하며, 이때 전극판을 통해 출력되는 전류가 초기 설정된 값으로 일정하게 유지될 수 있도록 전류의 크기를 피드백 제어하고, 손, 발 등의 왼쪽 및 오른쪽의 치료 효과를 동일하게 하도록 전극판의 극성을 일정 주기로 교환한다.
