The present invention relates to a bio-fungicide based on the marine yeast Debaryomyces Hansenii EU131182 comprising a biologically acceptable amount of biomass thereof. The said bio-fungicide is useful for the control of anthracnosis caused by Colletotrichum Gloeosporioides, in susceptible tropical fruit species, like papaya cv Maradol and Mango cv Ataulfo. Also, the present invention is useful in post-harvest without limiting its application.La presente invención se refiere a un biofungicida a base de la levadura marina Debaryomyces hansenii EU131182 que comprende una cantidad biológicamente aceptable de biomasa de la misma. El biofungicida de la presente invención es útil para el control de antracnosis causada por Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, en especies frutales tropicales susceptibles, por ejemplo, papaya cv Maradol y Mango cv Ataulfo. El biofungicida de la presente invención puede ser utilizado en poscosecha, sin que ello limite su aplicación.
