PURPOSE: A feed additive for livestock containing acanthopanax koreanum nakai, and a composition thereof are provided to use stems or roots of the acanthopanax koreanum nakai for improving the egg laying rate and the productivity of egg laying hens. CONSTITUTION: A composition of a feed additive for livestock contains acanthopanax koreanum nakai stems, acanthopanax koreanum nakai roots, conventional feed additives, and feed. The acanthopanax koreanum nakai stems and roots are dried, crushed, and micro-pulverized into powder having average particle diameter of 0.05-7mm.본 발명은 양돈, 산란계, 육계 등의 축산분야에 적용할 수 있는 가축용 사료첨가제 및 이를 포함하는 가축용 사료 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로 본 발명에 따른 가축용 사료 첨가제는 탐라오갈피 줄기 및 탐라오갈피 뿌리를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 가축용 사료 조성물은 성장율, 해열효과, 분만율, 산란율, 생산성 등이 우수하고, 폐사율이 낮은 특성이 있다.
