An object of the present invention is to provide a method for purifying 18F used for producing an 18F-labeled compound among radiopharmaceuticals. An aqueous solution containing 18F is introduced into an anion exchange column, and after holding 18F on the column, a solution for elution is introduced into the column to recover an eluate containing 18F, and the elution is carried out. The method for purifying 18F, wherein the solution for use has a cryptand or tetrabutylammonium and a carbonate dissolved in an anhydrous solvent containing a protic solvent other than water.
