PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine capable of performing massage with a higher stiff shoulder dissolution effect.SOLUTION: A chair type massage machine includes: a seat part on which a user sits a backrest part for supporting the back of the user sitting on the seat part treatment elements arranged in the backrest part and performing massage on the shoulders of the user in a state where the user is sitting on the seat part a stretch operation part for performing a first stretch operation for allowing the head of the user to incline in a longitudinal direction and/or in a front direction in a state where the user is sitting on the seat part and a control section for controlling the operations of the treatment elements and the stretch operation part.
