Disclosed is an electronic device which estimates bio-information. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device comprises: a pulse wave sensor measuring a pulse wave signal from a subject； a magnetic sensor detecting a change in a magnetic field generated by a magnetic field source in accordance with a change in a force applied to the pulse wave sensor by the subject； and a processor obtaining contact pressure between the subject and the pulse wave sensor based on the change in the magnetic field and estimating bio-information based on the measured pulse wave signal and the contact pressure.생체정보를 추정하는 전자 장치가 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따르면 전자 장치는 피검체로부터 맥파 신호를 측정하는 맥파 센서, 피검체가 맥파 센서에 가하는 힘의 변화에 따라, 자기장 소스에 의해 발생된 자기장의 변화를 감지하는 자기 센서 및 자기장의 변화를 기초로 피검체와 맥파 센서 사이의 접촉 압력을 획득하고, 측정된 맥파 신호 및 접촉 압력을 기초로 생체정보를 추정하는 프로세서를 포함할 수 있다.
