PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus, a method for controlling the electronic apparatus, and a program capable of improving detection accuracy of fishs biting.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus 1 is provided in a fishing rod 5 and disposed between a center in a longitudinal direction of the fishing rod 5 and a handle 51 of the fishing rod, and includes a first sensor 21 for detecting movement of a fishing rod 5, a second sensor 22 disposed between the center in the longitudinal direction of the fishing rod 5 and a rod tip 52 of the fishing rod 5 to detect movement of the fishing rod 5, and a control part 10.
