A stabilized orthopedic posterior knee prosthesis comprising: A femoral component (1700) that includes (i) a pair of separate condyles (1704, 1706) that define an intercondylar notch (1708) between them, at least one of the pairs of Separate condyles have a condyle surface (1720) curved in the sagittal plane and (ii) a posterior cam (1710) located in the intercondylar notch, and the tibial support (14) including (i) a platform (30) that has a support surface (32) configured to articulate with the condyle surface of the femoral component and (ii) a spine (60) extending upward from the platform, in which the condyle surface of the femoral component (i) makes contact with the support surface at a first contact point (1852) on the condyle surface at a first level of flexion (θ1), (ii) it makes contact with the support surface at a 2nd contact point (1852) on the surface from condyle to a 2nd level of flexion (θ2), the 2nd level of flexion being lower than the first level of flexion and in the range of zero to 75 °, and (iii) makes contact with the support surface at a 3rd point of contact (1852 ) on the condyle surface at a 3rd level of flexion (θ3), the 3rd level of flexion being greater than the 2nd level of flexion and less than about 90 °, in which the condyle surface has a first radius of curvature (R1) in the sagittal plane at the first contact point, a 2nd radius of curvature (R2) at the 2nd contact point, and a 3rd radius of curvature (R3) at the 3rd contact point, characterized in that the condyle surface has a first curved surface section (1802) defined between the first contact point and the 2nd contact point, the first curved surface section has a radius that is not constant of curvature, and the posterior cam of the femoral component contacts initially to the tibial support spine at a level of f lection (θC) between the 2nd level of flexion and the 3rd level of flexion.Una prótesis posterior ortopédica estabilizada de rodilla que comprende: Un componente fe
