1. A kit for improving blood circulation in the lower limb of a patient, comprising: a device containing at least one electrode for introducing an electrical stimulus into the opposite muscles of the legs of the patient； a power source connected to the electrode； and control means for activating the electrode to introduce an electric stimulus into the muscles sufficient to cause isometric muscle contraction； and a device for substantially immobilizing a patient's lower limb joint. 2. A kit according to claim 1, wherein the stimulation device and the immobilization device are combined into one device. A kit according to claim 1, wherein the stimulation device and the immobilization device are provided as separate devices. A kit according to claim 1, wherein the stimulation device comprises electrodes, a control means and a power source mounted on a flexible substrate. A kit according to claim 1, wherein the device for stimulation further comprises a conductive gel or the like, which serves to ensure that the device adheres to the limb of the patient. A kit according to claim 1, wherein the immobilization device comprises an orthopedic fixative dressing or dressing, or shoes. A kit according to claim 1, wherein the immobilization device is suitable for immobilizing the ankle joint. A kit according to claim 1, wherein the immobilization device is suitable for immobilization of the knee joint.
