PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending device of an intracavitary insertion tube or the like which prevents an excessive force from acting on the base end portion of a bending wire, achieves smooth operation, and improves durability even if a wire take-up drum having wire engagement grooves formed spirally on the outside periphery is arranged rotatably around the axis of an operating section.SOLUTION: The two wire engagement grooves 120 with the base end portions of a pair of bending wires 27 separately wound thereon are spirally formed on the outside periphery of the wire take-up drum 20.
