The present invention relates to a viral vector for the expression of PUMA protein, a cell death inducer, for its use in gene therapy, for example for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. This vector is in particular constituted by a recombinant adenovirus expressing the gene coding for the PUMA protein and a recombinant baculovirus containing a coxsackie-adenovirus (CAR) receptor. La présente invention concerne un vecteur viral d'expression de la protéine PUMA, inductrice de mort cellulaire, pour son utilisation en thérapie génique, par exemple pour le traitement de la polyarthrite rhumatoïde. Ce vecteur est en particulier constitué d'un adénovirus recombinant exprimant le gène codant pour la protéine PUMA et d'un baculovirus recombinant contenant un récepteur coxsackie-adénovirus (CAR).
