PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dialyzer capable of preventing an excessive positive pressure from being generated in a flow path between a blood pump and a liquid replenishing pump even when an error is generated in the flow rates of the blood pump and the liquid replenishing pump when returning blood, also preventing a liquid replenishing line side valve means from being left open and improving safety.
SOLUTION: The dialyzer includes a monitoring means 17 capable of monitoring the open state of a liquid replenishing line side valve means 18 by interrupting a flow path by a vein side valve means 16 before returning blood, rotationally driving the blood pump 8 for a predetermined amount and monitoring the change of a liquid pressure measured by a vein pressure sensor 15.
