A method of producing organic vermicide and the product thereof comprising the steps of: gathering mature bark of Harpulia arborea and Albizia sp. and removing the dried outer bark, chopping and grinding the said barks separately, extracting separately with purified water by cold maceration for 2 hours, filtering separately the extract solution using a fine filter cloth, measuring the extract separately to the same unit of volume, mixing the said extracts of the same volume to produce an organic vermicide in liquid form, evaporating the water content of the organic vermicide in liquid form by mild heating (50oC) the solution in water bath or by the use of a rotary evaporator, drying the residue at room temperature to about 10 pcnt moisture content to produce an organic vermicide in powder form, packaging and storing the dried organic vermicide in powder form at room temperature (20-25oC) until use.
