PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium and filter unit for reproducing an edible oil capable of easy use in a convenience store and a restaurant not having a large space, which allows reproduced edible oil to be obtained by contacting a deteriorated edible oil with the filter medium, causing no generation of gas such as steam, achieving a stable operation at low cost with easy cleaning, having a compact size, excellent in operability and economical efficiency and a method for reproducing an edible oil from a deteriorated edible oil.SOLUTION: The filter medium for reproducing an edible oil allows reproducing the edible oil to be obtained by contacting a deteriorated edible oil at 100 to 220°C. The filter medium is dried by preheating at 100 to 850°C for removal of water components, and then a specific amount thereof is accommodated in a porous flexible container. Alternatively a specific amount of the filter medium for reproducing an edible oil is accommodated in a porous flexible container, and then dried by heating at 100 to 850°C for removal of water components. Subsequently the filter medium is vacuum packed with a gas barrier packaging material for storage in a sealed package. The filter medium is taken out from the gas barrier packaging material for use in reproduction of an edible oil.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】劣化食用油を濾過材に接触させて再生食用油を得る際に、水蒸気などの気体の発生がなく、安定に操作でき、清掃が簡便で、小型で、操業コストが低く、操業性および経済性に優れるので、スペースのないコンビニエンスストア、レストランなどでも容易に使用できる食用油再生用濾過材および食用油再生用濾過装置および劣化食用油の再生方法の提供。【解決手段】100~220℃の劣化食用油を接触させ再生するための食用油再生用濾過材であって、予め100~850℃で加熱乾燥して水分を除去した後、多孔質可撓性容器に所定量収容し、あるいは食用油再生用濾過材を所定量多孔質可撓性容器に収容してから100~850℃で加熱乾燥して水分を除去し、ガスバリアー性包装材を用いて真空パックして密封包装して保存し、使用する際に前記ガスバリアー性包装材から取り出し食用油再生用として使用される濾過材であることを特徴とする食用油再生用濾過材により課題を解決できる。【選択図】図1
