To provide a takeout mechanism for planting plates which easily takes out a planting plate from a water culture shelf, and which can suppress damage to plants on the planting plate and contamination of the surroundings with liquid fertilizer dropped from the plants on the planting plate.SOLUTION: A takeout mechanism 3 for planting plates is configured to lift up a planting plate 2 placed above a liquid fertilizer tank storing liquid fertilizer therein on a water culture shelf 1, and then take out the planting plate from the water culture shelf. On a lower side of an end of the planting plate, the takeout mechanism 3 has a hinge shaft which is rotatably fixed to a frame 12 of the water culture shelf, and a rotation piece whose one end is attached to the hinge shaft and the other end rotates around the hinge shaft in coordination with the hinge shaft.
