According to an aspect of the present inventive concept there is provided a reconfigurable sensor circuit (100) comprising:an input stage (110) including a first input terminal (E3) and a second input terminal (E4), andan amplification stage (120) including:a first amplifier (U1) having a non-inverting input, an inverting input and an output connected to the inverting input of the first amplifier via a first resistor (R7),a second amplifier (U2) having a non-inverting input, an inverting input and an output connected to the inverting input of the second amplifier via a second resistor (R8), andfirst switching circuitry (S11-S18) adapted to be arranged in a first state, wherein the amplification stage is in a differential amplifier configuration, and in a second state, wherein the amplification stage is in a transimpedance amplifier configuration,wherein, in the differential amplifier configuration, the first amplifier (U1) and the second amplifier (U2) are together configured as a differential amplifier connected to the first and the second input terminals (E3, E4), andwherein, in the transimpedance amplifier configuration, at least the first amplifier (U1) is configured as a transimpedance amplifier connected to the first input terminal (E3).
