PURPOSE: A bracket for orthodontics is provided to prevent the surface of bracket, and to shorten the treating period by reducing frictional force while adding a tension on teeth. CONSTITUTION: A bracket for orthodontics is an ingredient for ceramic, which works as an attachment surface whose rear side (11) attaches directly on tooth. The bracket comprises: a slot (12) inserted with a wire (20) connecting multiple brackets on the opposite side of the rear side. The surface of the bracket is coated with a silica coating solution comprising 49-50 wt% of colloidal silica； 49-50 wt% of water； and 0.5-1.5wt% of acid catalyst.본 발명은 치열교정용 브래킷의 표면 코팅 방법에 관한 것으로, 세라믹으로 제작한 브라캣의 슬롯에 끼워지는 와이어가 치열교정에 필요한 장력(tension)을 치아에 가하는 동안 마찰력을 최소화하면서 표면경도와 내구성을 증가할 수 있도록 세라믹으로 제작한 브래킷의 표면에 특정 두께의 실리카 코팅층을 형성한다. 본 발명에 따라 그 표면에 특정 두께의 티타늄 코팅층을 형성한 세라믹으로 제작한 브래킷을 사용하여 치열교정을 하면, 브래킷의 슬롯에 끼워지는 와이어가 치열교정에 필요한 장력(tension)을 치아에 가하는 동안 마찰력을 최소화할 수 있으므로 시술자가 원하는 치열이동 경로의 구현과 치료기간의 단축이 가능하다.
