The present invention relates to a beehive box having functions of heat shield, insulation, waterproofing, flame retardant and ventilation, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, a water-soluble color material (100) is coated on internal and external surfaces of a beehive box cover (roof) (1)； a main unit (2) of the beehive box； a beehive bed (including a stream bed and a temporary bed) (6) of the beehive box； a stand of the beehive box； and an auxiliary material (200), so the functions of heat shield, insulation, waterproofing, flame retardant, ventilation are provided, wherein the water-soluble color material (100) is made by arranging vacuum microspheres of borosilicate in a special resin, thereby exhibiting a heat shield and insulation function against solar energy and functions of waterproofing, flame retardant, and ventilation. Thus, a life of the beehive box is extended, and the quality of air inside the beehive box is improved, so a change of the temperature and environment inside the beehive box can be minimized. To this end, the water-soluble color material (100) having the vacuum microspheres of borosilicate arranged in the special resin to provide the heat shield and insulation function against solar energy and the functions of waterproofing, flame retardant, and ventilation, is applied on the internal and external surfaces of the beehive box cover (roof) (1)； the main unit (2) of the beehive box； the beehive bed (including a stream bed and a temporary bed) (6) of the beehive box； the support of the beehive box； and the auxiliary material (200) by spraying or brushing.
