A herbicidal composition comprising mesosulfuron, iodosulfuron and metribuzin in an herbicidally effective amount. Also claimed is a method of controlling unwanted plant growth comprising applying to the plants or to the locus thereof herbicidally effective amounts of mesosulfuron, iodosulfuron and metribuzin. There is also a claim to the use of mesosulfuron, iodosulfuron and metribuzin in a herbicidally effective amount for controlling undesired plant growth. Preferably the mesosulfuron is mesosulfuron-methyl, and the iodosulfuron is iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium.
