PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure a pulse rate.SOLUTION: A pulse measuring device 10 detects a signal of a frequency band corresponding to a pulse wave of a subject from an image in which a subjects biological body is photographed. The pulse measuring device 10 sets a reference window, which has prescribed width including the prescribed number of periods of a pulse waveform, to the detected signal. The pulse measuring device 10 calculates a periodic model waveform on the basis of the set reference window. The pulse measuring device 10 computes a degree of coincidence between the calculated model waveform and the pulse waveform in the reference window. Then, the pulse measuring device 10 measures a pulse rate of the subject on the basis of a parameter included in the model waveform, when the computed degree of coincidence is equal to or more than a prescribed threshold.
