PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to adjust, in a bone density measurement system, the height of a measurement groove in which, according to a subject, an arm of the subject is inserted.SOLUTION: A bone density measurement device 12 has a measurement groove having an inclining position (oblique upward position). The bone density measurement device 12 is placed on a carriage 14 as a support device. The carriage 14 has a seat and a raising/lowering mechanism. By virtue of the raising/lowering mechanism, the height of the measurement groove is altered while the inclining position is maintained. The raising/lowering mechanism has a gas spring with a lock function that applies upward pushing force to the seat.
