PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine capable of accurately detecting plural kinds of abnormal states in which shock generation directions are different respectively.SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor 44 mounted on a work machine can detect independently, acceleration of a first direction (for example, an X-axis direction) and acceleration of a second direction (for example, a Y-axis direction) different from the first direction. The acceleration sensor 44 outputs a first detection signal according to a detection result of the acceleration of the first direction, and a second detection signal according to a detection result of the acceleration of the second direction. Then, it is determined whether or not at least a first event has occurred out of plural kinds of events that occur on the work machine, based on the first detection signal.
