The present invention is to provide a weight for a shellfish shell fishing gear with improved capturing power, comprising: a polypyramid weight body of which one side has a cross-shaped portion having a cross-shaped (+) structure at a certain length, and which consists of a converging portion of which the width narrows toward the other side； and a fixing device connected and fixed with an inking line through a ring structure at the side center of the cross-shaped potion of the weight body. Accordingly, by preventing the loss of existing shellfish shell fishing gears with a large amount of loss, costs for purchasing fishing gears and costs of fishery loss of fishermen can be reduced.일정 길이로 일측면은 십자형(+)구조의 십자형상부가 형성되고 타측면을 향하여 폭이 협소해지는 수렴부로 이루어지는 다각뿔구조의 무게추 본체； 상기 무게추 본체의 십자형상부 측면 중심부에는 고리구조로 멍줄과 연결 고정되는 고정장치로 이루어지는 고정력이 향상된 패류껍질 어구용 무게추를 제공함으로써, 기존의 유실량이 많은 패류껍질어구의 유실을 방지하여 어업인의 어구 구입비 및 어획 손실 비용을 감소시키는 효과가 있다.
