PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system for plant cultivation which can solve such inconvenience that the quantity of light necessary for the growth of a plant cannot be secured by shutting out light emitted from a plant growth light source by an insect trap light source and an insect catching part.SOLUTION: A lighting system 1 for plant cultivation includes plant growth light sources 2 and insect trap light sources 3. Each insect trap light source 3 is arranged inside an insect catching chamber 11. The upper part of the insect catching chamber 11 is formed with an inlet 12 communicating with the inside of the insect catching chamber 11. The insect catching chamber 11 is formed of a frame 14, reflective members 15 arranged in a side opening of the frame 14, and a lower cover 16 arranged on the lower end of the frame 14.
